THE STORY:

Balasadan (pronounced bah.la suh.dhan) meaning, a home for infants, is started in Kakinada, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. Currently, The basic supplies they procure monthly, if used correctly, will last 15 days. To facilitate the supplies to last for the entire month, supplies like milk powder are diluted so it lasts through the month. This is causing nutrition deficiencies among infants and is causing other health issues.

The objective is to help procure supplies that would last a month consistently and help infants evolve with good health. The infants will stay with Balasadan until they are adopted or they are moved to another orphanage after they attain a certain age.

$ 30 can support 1 child for 1 month
$ 90 can support 1 child for 3 months
$180 can support 1 child for 6 months
$360 can support 1 child for 12 months
